Muhlenberg County Stallions Grabs Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat Madisonville Miners

Muhlenberg County Stallions nabbed the lead late in the game in a 7-5 victory over Madisonville Miners on Saturday. The game was tied at five with Muhlenberg County Stallions batting in the bottom of the seventh when Nick Lucido doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Nathan McKissick was the winning pitcher for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The righthander lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. Peyton Burton and Jordan Schaefer entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Burton recorded the last four outs to earn the save for Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Jack Hall took the loss for Madisonville Miners. Hall went two-thirds of an inning, allowing three runs on one hit.

The righthander went four innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out four
