Thursday's game against Henderson Flash was a heartbreaker for Paducah Chiefs, as they lost the lead late in a 10-5 defeat. The game was tied at five with Henderson Flash batting in the top of the seventh when an error scored one run for Henderson Flash.

Henderson Flash opened up scoring in the first inning. Cody Schultz drove in one when Schultz singled.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Paducah Chiefs tied things up at five when Coy Burns threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Paducah Chiefs.

Henderson Flash scored four runs in the eighth inning. Henderson Flash's big inning was driven by a single by Nick Rucker, a sac fly by Gabe Bratetic, and an error on a ball put in play by Noah Nelson.

Colby Knutzen was credited with the victory for Henderson Flash. The righthander lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out one and walking one. Burns and Tyler Schultz entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Trey Schultz took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. The southpaw surrendered five runs on three hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

Carter Park started the game for Paducah Chiefs. The pitcher went five innings, allowing five runs on six hits, striking out four and walking one Kobe Matsen started the game for Henderson Flash. The righty went three innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out two

Paducah Chiefs had seven hits in the game. Jace Mizell and Brandon Hager each had multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Hager and Mizell all had two hits to lead Paducah Chiefs.

Henderson Flash racked up 11 hits in the game. Bratetic, Nick Wimber, and Schultz all managed multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Bratetic led Henderson Flash with three hits in four at bats. Henderson Flash stole 11 bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Andrew Dalton led the way with five.
