Franklin Duelers fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 15-5 loss to Henderson Flash on Wednesday. Henderson Flash scored on a wild pitch by Trevor Campbell in the first inning, a double by Noah Nelson in the second inning, and a single by Andrew Dalton in the second inning.

The Franklin Duelers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Henderson Flash, giving up 15 runs.

Henderson Flash took the lead for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Nelson doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run and Dalton singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Franklin Duelers put up three runs in the seventh inning. The rally was led by an error on a ball put in play by Jared Kirkman and a double by Alex Miller.

Henderson Flash scored four runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught by Henderson Flash was led by Nelson, Santrel Farmer, and Trey Hutchison, who all drove in runs.

Tyler Cruse led things off on the hill for Henderson Flash. The lefty surrendered two runs on three hits over five innings, striking out five.

Jake Ferguson started the game for Franklin Duelers. The bulldog surrendered seven runs on six hits over two and a third innings, striking out two. Jaxson Lucas, Denton Lee, and Joseph Delgado each contributed in relief for Franklin Duelers.

Henderson Flash smacked two home runs on the day. Nelson put one out in the sixth inning. Farmer had a four bagger in the fifth inning.

Miller, Jack Rando, Braxton Meguiar, Carter Vrable, and Joey Johnston all had one hit to lead Franklin Duelers.
