Muhlenberg County Stallions stayed in it until the end, but Hoptown Hoppers pulled away late in a 3-2 victory on Sunday. The game was tied at two with Hoptown Hoppers batting in the top of the ninth when Zayd Brannigan drew a walk, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Hoptown Hoppers pitchers struck out 15, while Muhlenberg County Stallions sat down seven.

Muhlenberg County Stallions opened up scoring in the first inning. Mason Lundgrin doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

In the top of the seventh inning, Hoptown Hoppers tied things up at two when Nicholas (Nico) Montes singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Chase Gruno was the winning pitcher for Hoptown Hoppers. The pitcher went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out five and walking one. Valek Cisneros threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Peyton Burton took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Burton went one inning, allowing one run on zero hits and striking out two.

Colby Downard started the game for Hoptown Hoppers. The pitcher went five innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out six Nick Casey started the game for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The righty allowed five hits and two runs over six and a third innings, striking out five

Hunter Combs, Lundgrin, Colin Cornwell, and Brian O'Boyle each managed one hit to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Landon Choboy went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Hoptown Hoppers in hits. Hoptown Hoppers didn't commit a single error in the field. Jojo Cruz had the most chances in the field with 14.
