Franklin Duelers Fall Short To Full Count Rhythm, 8-3

Full Count Rhythm got on the board in the first inning. Full Count Rhythm scored two runs when Matthew Batts doubled.

In the bottom of the second inning, Franklin Duelers tied things up at two. Braxton Meguiar drove in one when Meguiar singled.

Full Count Rhythm pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Christian Smith homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Dalton Kendrick was on the pitcher's mound for Full Count Rhythm. The lefty allowed two hits and two runs over four innings, striking out seven.

Cade Vernon started the game for Franklin Duelers. The bulldog went four innings, allowing four runs on four hits, striking out five and walking zero. Tanner Morgan, Nate Cunningham, Hunter Cooper, and Jake Ferguson each entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings, one and one-third innings, one inning, and one inning respectively.

Franklin Duelers collected six hits on the day. Meguiar and Austin Ehren all managed multiple hits for Franklin Duelers. Ehren and Meguiar each managed two hits to lead Franklin Duelers.
