Muhlenberg County Stallions Outdone By Owensboro RiverDawgs, 8-5

Muhlenberg County Stallions evened things up at two in the bottom of the fourth inning when Colin Cornwell singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Owensboro RiverDawgs pulled away for good with one run in the fifth inning. In the fifth Peyton Meredith singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Muhlenberg County Stallions scored three runs in the ninth inning. Brian O'Boyle and Brandon Scheurer each had RBIs in the frame.

Owensboro RiverDawgs scored four runs in the sixth inning. Cole GoberCameron Nichols, Meredith, and Hayden Hirschvogel powered the big inning with RBIs.

Nick Belcher pitched Owensboro RiverDawgs to victory. The righthander allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out five. Hunter SmallNoah Cantleberry, and Cody Hupp all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Dom Pieto took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The pitcher surrendered three runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

Trent Hlafka started the game for Owensboro RiverDawgs. The righty surrendered one run on two hits over three innings, striking out one

Bentley BoekhoutMason Lundgrin, Cornwell, and Will Kempf each managed one hit to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions. Muhlenberg County Stallions didn't commit a single error in the field. Boekhout had the most chances in the field with ten.

Owensboro RiverDawgs saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game. Meredith, Lucas Gulazyuski, and Gober each collected multiple hits for Owensboro RiverDawgs. Meredith led Owensboro RiverDawgs with three hits in four at bats.
