Alex Gonzales was bad news for opposing pitchers on Saturday, driving in five on three hits to lead Hoptown Hoppers past Fulton Railroaders 12-1 on Saturday. Gonzales drove in runs on a single in the first and a grand slam in the second.

An early lead helped propel Hoptown Hoppers to victory. Hoptown Hoppers scored on a single by Joe Sassi, a single by Landon Choboy, a single by Gonzales, and a home run by Kurt Paldino in the first inning.

Jonathan Beymer was credited with the victory for Hoptown Hoppers. The pitcher went five innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out six.

Cole Matthaidess took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. Matthaidess surrendered nine runs on five hits over one and one-third innings.

Hoptown Hoppers hit two home runs on the day. Paldino had a four bagger in the first inning. Gonzales had a long ball in the second inning.

Hoptown Hoppers tallied ten hits on the day. Gonzales, Jake Parr, and Jojo Cruz each collected multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Gonzales went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Hoptown Hoppers in hits. Hoptown Hoppers didn't commit a single error in the field. Cruz had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

Fulton Railroaders was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jackson Case had the most chances in the field with four.
