Muhlenberg County Stallions Defeats Madisonville Miners In Blow Out Victory Thanks To First Inning Boost

An eight-run first inning led Muhlenberg County Stallions to an 11-1 victory on Friday. The big inning was thanks to singles by Parker Stroh, Kevin Sosa, and Peyton Caraway, walks by Bentley Boekhout and Eli Burkhart, and doubles by Caraway and Colin Cornwell.

Muhlenberg County Stallions fired up the offense in the first inning. Caraway doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Scott Rouse earned the win for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The righty surrendered one run on five hits over seven innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

Tyler Yotkewich took the loss for Madisonville Miners. The righty lasted one-third of an inning, allowing three hits and seven runs.

Muhlenberg County Stallions tallied one home run on the day. Boekhout went deep in the fourth inning.

Muhlenberg County Stallions racked up 12 hits. Caraway, Sosa, and Stroh all managed multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Sosa and Caraway each collected three hits to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Justin Ramirez led Madisonville Miners with two hits in three at bats. Madisonville Miners was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Will Cline had the most chances in the field with five.
