Friday's game against Fulton Railroaders was a heartbreaker for Paducah Chiefs, as they lost the lead late in a 3-1 defeat. The game was tied at one with Fulton Railroaders batting in the top of the seventh when Nathan Bynum singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Fulton Railroaders pitchers struck out ten, while Paducah Chiefs sat down eight.

Fulton Railroaders got on the board in the second inning when Bynum grounded out, scoring one run.

Paducah Chiefs tied things up at one in the bottom of the second inning. Colton Easterwood threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Paducah Chiefs.

Easterwood earned the win for Fulton Railroaders. He went seven and a third innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out seven, and walking one. Luke McKenzie and Jordyn Naranjo entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. McKenzie recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Fulton Railroaders.

Sawyer Smallwood took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. He went eight and a third innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out six, and walking one.

Alan Roden led Paducah Chiefs with two hits in four at-bats.

Britt Netterville went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.
