Fulton Railroaders Clinches Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat Paducah Chiefs

Fulton Railroaders took the lead late in the game in a 6-4 victory over Paducah Chiefs on Wednesday. Fulton Railroaders was down 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning when O'Neil Burgos doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

Paducah Chiefs got things moving in the first inning, when Bryson Bloomer hit a solo homer.

Ryan Middleton was the winning pitcher for Fulton Railroaders. He surrendered one run on three hits over one inning, walking one. Ben Kowalski threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Kowalski recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Fulton Railroaders.

Mitch Turner took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. He allowed two hits and four runs over one-third of an inning.

Tanner Stinnett started the game for Fulton Railroaders. He surrendered two runs on six hits over six innings, striking out 11 Jordan Fowler started the game for Paducah Chiefs. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking zero

Paducah Chiefs hit three home runs on the day. Pierce Mitchum had a long ball in the fifth inning. Lofton Pigg had a homer in the ninth inning. Bloomer had a four bagger in the first inning.

Davis Lott, Burgos, Britt Netterville, Ty Wooton, Reid Rector, Garrett Guymon, and Nathan Bynum all had one hit to lead Fulton Railroaders.

Paducah Chiefs totaled ten hits. Bloomer, Pigg, and Alan Roden all managed multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Bloomer led Paducah Chiefs with three hits in five at bats.
