Madisonville Miners Loses Lead Early In Defeat

Madisonville Miners watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 13-9 loss to Henderson Flash on Monday. Henderson Flash scored on a sacrifice fly by Justen Freeman in the first inning, a double by Brandon Boxer in the first inning, and a single by Nolan Melton in the second inning.

Madisonville Miners collected 12 hits and Henderson Flash had 16 in the high-scoring affair.

In the first inning, Henderson Flash got their offense started when Freeman's sac fly scored one run for Henderson Flash.

Mason White led the Henderson Flash to victory on the mound. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out four. Matthew Craven, Bryce Thomas, and Jon Cato all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory. Craven recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.
