Paducah Chiefs Falls To Fulton Railroaders Despite Strong Offense

Both teams put up a bunch of runs, but Paducah Chiefs fell to Fulton Railroaders 11-7 on Monday.

Paducah Chiefs fired up the offense in the first inning, when Alan Roden doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the third inning, Paducah Chiefs tied things up at four. Paducah Chiefs scored three runs when Jacob Hartline homered.

Fulton Railroaders pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Chance Foss homered on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Keshaun Mays pitched Fulton Railroaders to victory. He went five innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out six. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Will Pratt, Bennett Christensen, Ben Kowalski, and Noah Vickers all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Brady Bibbs took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. He went five and a third innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits and striking out three.
