Paducah Chiefs Struggles To Find Groove Against Henderson Flash

Paducah Chiefs struggled to get their offense going on Wednesday, getting easily dispatched by Henderson Flash, 9-3.

Henderson Flash got on the board in the second inning. Henderson Flash scored one run when Gunner Smith singled.

Paducah Chiefs knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the second inning, when Brenton Tidd singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Henderson Flash pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Smith singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run and Noah Brown doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

Jaiden Haddock took the win for Henderson Flash. He went six innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out four and walking one. Logan Gray and Miller McMatheren entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Nick King took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. He allowed four hits and five runs over three and a third innings, striking out two.

Paducah Chiefs totaled seven hits. Tidd, Alan Roden, and Drew Hudson each collected multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Hudson, Roden, and Tidd each collected two hits to lead Paducah Chiefs.

Henderson Flash racked up eight hits in the game. Austin Domer, Justen Freeman, and Smith all had multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Domer led Henderson Flash with three hits in four at bats.
