Hoptown Hoppers won big over Madisonville Miners 10-2 on Thursday.

Madisonville Miners got things started in the first inning when Ben Teel singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Hoptown Hoppers pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third an error scored two runs for Hoptown Hoppers, Seth Bennett doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Jacob Jenkins singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Cameron Hill tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Hunter Crosby earned the victory on the hill for Hoptown Hoppers. He allowed six hits and two runs over six innings, striking out ten. Hunter Arnold and Jordan Wendel entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Justin Hallum took the loss for Madisonville Miners. He lasted three innings, allowing six hits and five runs while walking one.
