Robby Zanardelli Drives In Four To Seal Franklin Duelers's Victory Over Fulton Railroaders

Franklin Duelers defeated Fulton Railroaders 16-6 on Saturday thanks in part to Robby Zanardelli, who drove in four runners. Zanardelli drove in runs on a grand slam in the fourth.

Fulton Railroaders scored five runs in the seventh inning, but Franklin Duelers still managed to pull out the victory. Fulton Railroaders batters contributing to the big inning included Keshaun Mays, Luke McKenzie, and Landon Ezzell, who all drove in runs.

Franklin Duelers got things started in the second inning. Travis Faix hit a solo homer.

Franklin Duelers scored seven runs in the fourth inning. Tim Blankenberger, Orlando Arevalo, Daniel O'Reilly, and Zanardelli each drove in runs during the inning.

Trevor Beards was on the hill for Franklin Duelers. He went six innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out six and walking one.

Tanner Stinnett started the game for Fulton Railroaders. He allowed eight hits and nine runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five. Bennett Christensen and Chance Forbes entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and one-third of an inning respectively.

Franklin Duelers tallied two home runs on the day. Faix went deep in the second inning. Zanardelli had a long ball in the fourth inning.

Franklin Duelers racked up 16 hits on the day. Joey Fletcher, Arevalo, Ethan Shelton, and Zanardelli each had multiple hits for Franklin Duelers. Fletcher went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Franklin Duelers in hits.

Mays led Fulton Railroaders with two hits in three at bats.
