Despite Strong Fight, Paducah Chiefs Can't Top Owensboro RiverDawgs
Paducah Chiefs fought back after falling down by nine runs in the fourth inning. The comeback fell just short though, in an 11-9 defeat to Owensboro RiverDawgs on Sunday. Paducah Chiefs scored six runs in the failed comeback on a double by Kevin Brenning in the fourth, a double by Jacob Hartline in the sixth, a single by Peyton Sockwell in the sixth, a stolen base by Reid Pope in the seventh, and a wild pitch during Blake Johnson's at bat in the eighth.
