Paducah Chiefs took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Madisonville Miners. The game was tied at two with Paducah Chiefs batting in the bottom of the ninth when Kevin Brenning singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Paducah Chiefs pitchers struck out four, while Madisonville Miners pitchers sat down four.

Tanner Smith led the Paducah Chiefs to victory on the pitcher's mound. He surrendered one run on four hits over two and a third innings, striking out one and walking zero.

Nicholas Rathke took the loss for Madisonville Miners. He surrendered three runs on nine hits over eight and two-thirds innings, striking out four.

Stone Selby started the game for Paducah Chiefs. He lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing nine hits and one run while striking out three

Paducah Chiefs racked up ten hits on the day. Peyton Sockwell and Brenning each racked up multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Sockwell went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Paducah Chiefs in hits. Paducah Chiefs was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Reid Homan made the most plays with seven.

Madisonville Miners tallied 13 hits in the game. George De La Fe, Sean Kearney, Jay Saunders, and Graham Hackbarth each managed multiple hits for Madisonville Miners.
