Nothing came easy for Hoptown Hoppers on Thursday, as they fell 14-4 to Paducah Chiefs

Hoptown Hoppers notched four runs in the sixth inning. The rally was led by a single by Joe DeFina and a home run by Cody Hartness.

Caleb Reinhardt was the winning pitcher for Paducah Chiefs. He allowed six hits and four runs over five and a third innings, striking out three. JC Goins threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Kyle Turner took the loss for the Hoptown Hoppers. He allowed nine hits and nine runs over three innings, striking out one.

Hoptown Hoppers smacked one home run on the day. Hartness had a dinger in the sixth inning.

Malik Blaise went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Hoptown Hoppers in hits.

Paducah Chiefs totaled 11 hits in the game. Nick Shumaker, Reid Homan, and Peyton Sockwell each had multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Paducah Chiefs was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Kyle Antos had the most chances in the field with eight.
