Fourth Inning Plays Key Role In Owensboro RiverDawgs Blow Out Over Hoptown Hoppers

Owensboro RiverDawgs defeated Hoptown Hoppers 9-1 on Tuesday thanks to a timely seven runs in a big fourth inning. The rally was led by singles by Sid Kumar and Austin Peterson, a walk by Nick Sanders, by Kobe Stephens, and a fielder's choice by Wyatt Daly.

Tony Barrera led the Owensboro RiverDawgs to victory on the pitcher's mound. He allowed one hit and one run over six innings, striking out eight. Thomas Cessna and Bo Robison entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Sam Traver took the loss for the Hoptown Hoppers. He allowed five hits and four runs over three and a third innings, striking out three and walking zero.
