Madisonville Miners Defeated By Hoptown Hoppers

Madisonville Miners put up three runs in the seventh inning. Madisonville Miners scored its runs on an RBI home run by Corey Kelley.

Trey Fields got the win for the Hoptown Hoppers. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out seven, and walking one. Sam Traver and Evan Porter entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Porter recorded the last six outs to earn the save for the Hoptown Hoppers.

Colin Casey took the loss for Madisonville Miners. He went three innings, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out five.

Madisonville Miners launched one home run on the day. Kelley had a long ball in the seventh inning.

Kelley, George De La Fe, Samuel Stewart, Graham Hackbarth, Nick Farrell, Jay Saunders, and Sean Kearney each managed one hit to lead Madisonville Miners.
