Hoptown Hoppers had all cylinders firing on offense on Saturday, winning big over Henderson Flash 9-1

Hoptown Hoppers got things moving in the first inning, when Joe DeFina singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Hoptown Hoppers scored four runs in the seventh inning. Nick Proto, DeFina, Davis Keller, and Max Remy all drove in runs in the frame.

Shane Burns led the Hoptown Hoppers to victory on the pitcher's mound. He lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and one run while striking out eight. Ethan Clark threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Clark recorded the last seven outs to earn the save for Hoptown Hoppers.

Jacob Bowles took the loss for Henderson Flash. He allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out five.

Hoptown Hoppers smacked one home run on the day. Cody Hartness had a dinger in the sixth inning.

Hoptown Hoppers collected nine hits. Proto, Keller, and Hartness each collected multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Proto led Hoptown Hoppers with three hits in four at-bats.

Evan Keller went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits.
