Henderson Flash Clings To Victory As Madisonville Miners Nearly Erases 6-Run Deficit
Henderson Flash built a six-run lead in the seventh inning and then held off Madisonville Miners's charge for a 9-7 victory on Thursday. Madisonville Miners scored four runs in the failed comeback on a double by Nate Chevalier and a double by Graham Hackbarth.
Madisonville Miners scored four runs in the eighth inning, but Henderson Flash still managed to pull out the victory. Chevalier and Hackbarth powered the big inning with RBIs.
In the first inning, Madisonville Miners got their offense started. Sean Kearney grounded out into a double play but still was able to knock in one run.
