Hoptown Hoppers Claims Victory Over Fulton Railroaders In Blow-Out Fashion, 12-4

Hoptown Hoppers won big over Fulton Railroaders 12-4 on Thursday.

Fulton Railroaders opened up scoring in the first inning. Fulton Railroaders scored two runs when Sam Stohr homered.

Hoptown Hoppers knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the first inning, when Blake Jackson homered on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Hoptown Hoppers pulled away for good with one run in the third inning. In the third Max Remy grounded out, scoring one run.

Hoptown Hoppers put up four runs in the sixth inning. Hoptown Hoppers offense in the inning was led by Cody Hartness, MJ Rookard, and Matt Keane, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Brian Coffey got the win for Hoptown Hoppers. He went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits, striking out six, and walking zero. Kendall Marshall, Hassan Westbrook, and Jaxon Herchenbach all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team toward the victory.

Kody Davidson took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. He surrendered seven runs on four hits over four innings, striking out three.

Hoptown Hoppers smacked one home run on the day. Jackson had a four-bagger in the first inning.
