Dubois County Bombers ran off with the lead late in the game in an 8-3 victory over Madisonville Miners on Thursday. The game was tied at three with Dubois County Bombers batting in the bottom of the sixth when Ben Wilcoxson laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run.

Madisonville Miners got things started in the second inning. Nate Chevalier drew a walk, scoring one run.

Dubois County Bombers pulled away for good with three runs in the sixth inning. In the sixth Cody Bridges tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

Dubois County Bombers put up four runs in the eighth inning. Wilcoxson, Nolan Ramsey, and Jake Lewis each drove in runs during the inning.

Evan Sankey was the winning pitcher for Dubois County Bombers. He lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out three and walking one. Jack Anderson threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Brennan Hatten took the loss for Madisonville Miners. He went two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out one, and walking zero.

Colton Easterwood started the game for Dubois County Bombers. He surrendered three runs on four hits over four and a third innings, striking out three Hayden Seay started the game for Madisonville Miners. He went three and a third innings, allowing one run on three hits

Bridges, Wilcoxson, Evan Kahre, Gavin Napier, Lewis, Payton Mattingly, Tobe Whitten, and Sam Mudd each collected one hit to lead Dubois County Bombers. Dubois County Bombers didn't commit a single error in the field. Whitten had the most chances in the field with 11.

Madisonville Miners was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Chevalier made the most plays with eight.
