The Miners won their fifth game in a row against the homestanding Chiefs in Paducah. Madisonville's 6 run first innings and another in the second turned out to be all they needed. Paducah chipped away at the Miners' lead scoring single runs in the first and second innings and 2 runs in the sixth. The Chiefs put up another run across in the eighth inning but left the tying runs on base.
