The Fulton Railroaders defeated the Madisonville Miners, 6-0
The Railroaders won the second game shutting out the Miners to finish the doubleheader.
The Railroaders put up their 6 earned runs with 10 game hits total. Lucas Eliason was 2-for-4 with 2 doubles, a RBI and one score. Brad Baldwin went 2-for-4 and 2 RBI with a double. Griffin Neuer was 2-for-3, a RBI, one score and had a double. Clay Reece (1-for-3) added a RBI and scored once.
Miners Cory Finkler and Wesley Birchmeier both went 2-for-3 on the evening and both had a double each in the game.
Charlie Hecht gets the win for Fulton for the complete 7-inning game pitched. He gave up 5 hits, no walks and had 3 strikeouts.
Starter Yancey Pritchett takes the loss for 4 1/3 innings allowing 6 hits, 3 earned runs, 2 walks and had 6 strikeouts.
The two teams ended the night as they started in the standings with the Railroaders in second place 1 1/2 games ahead of the third place Miners.
