The Owensboro Oilers defeated the Fulton Railroaders, 6-5

 (From Owensboro)  The Owensboro Oilers topped the visiting Fultor Railroaders on Tuesday night, winning in walk-off fashion by the final score of 6 to 5.
     Fulton scored first with two runs in the top of the 2nd inning/ Kyle Uhrich led off with a single. Tyler Hilton followed with a single. Drew Greenwood reached on a fielder's choice that put Hilton out, but advanced Uhrich. An RBI single from Clay Reece drove in Uhrich. Greenwood scored on an RBI sacrifice fly by Carlos Williams. The Railroaders added two more runs in the top of the 3rd inning. Brad Baldwin led off with a single, then advanced to second base on a wild pitch. A sacrifice fly moved Baldwin to third base. Uhrich followed with a 2-RBI home run to left field, scoring Baldwin and himself, and making it 4-0 in Fulton's favor. The Railroaders added one more run in the top of the 4th inning. Reece led off the inning hit by a pitch, he advanced to second base on a wild pitch. Lucas Eliason walked. Reece and Eliason moved up one base on another wild pitch. Williams reached on a fielder's choice used to put Reece out at the plate, taking second on the throw. Griffin Neuer walked. Eliason scored on a RBI groundout from Baldwin. Moving to the home half of the 4th inning Owensboro trailed 5 to 0.
     The Oilers collected their first two hits of the game in the bottom of the 4th inning, and broke into the scoring with three runs in the bottom of the 6th inning. Austin Bartle reached first base after a dropped third strike. Tyler Tichenor reached on a fielder's choice that put Bartle out. Tichenor stole second base. Alfredo Bohorques RBI doubled to plate Tichenor. Ty Broady followed with a single and Bohorques held at third base. Riley Benner pushed Borhorques across with an RBI groundout. Aaron King singled, A two-base error brought Broady home while sending King to third base. At the end of six complete innings the home deficit was just 5 to 3.
     Owensboro got three runs to win the game in the bottom of the 9th inning. Mark VanDenlangerberg led off with a single, Conner McHugh doubled, putting VanDenlangerberg at third base. Bartle walked to load the bases, Tichenor again reached on a fielder's choice that put Bartle out, but collected an RBI for VanDenlangerberg scoring while McHugh moved to third base. Tichenor stole second base, then a wild pitch brought McHugh in as the tying run and put Tichenor on third base. Bohorques was hit by a pitch, then advances to second base. Ty Broady was intentionally walked to set up a play-at-the plate double play scenario. Benner RBI singled through the heart of a drawn in infield to plate Tichenor and win the game.
     Conner McHugh was the pitcher of record for short relief work done in the top of the 9th inning, and he collects the comeback win. Justin Hayden faced Tichenor through Benner in the bottom of the 9th with Tichenor scoring the winning run so Hayden takes the Fulton loss.
