The Fulton Railroaders defeated the Dubois County Bombers, 5-0
In 7 innings. (From Fulton) In contrast to the first game, the second shutout came from 4 costly Bomber errors and only one earned run by the Railroaders. Both teams were just able to manage 3 hits each in the game with the Railroaders getting 2 RBI total. The Bombers stranded 3 men on base and the Railroader left 7 men total.
Zach Bailey lead Fulton again going 2 for 4, one RBI and scoring once. Trevor Hicks got the only other hit by Fulton, and he also made it home for a score.
For Dubois County, Joe Redburn went 2 for 3 at the plate, and Jacob Roberts singled for Dubois' third hit on the night cap.
Cory Main earned the win for the start and 6 innings pitched, no runs or walks, 3 hits and 4 stikeouts. Will Hazen closed the final 7th inning with one walk and 3 strikeouts. Mark Giesler takes the hard loss for 3 1/3 innings and tagged for 3 unearned runs, 3 walks and struck out 3 at the plated. Brian Wichman finished the final 1 2/3 innings with 2 runs (one earned), one hit, walking 3, and striking out 2 batters.
