The Owensboro Oilers defeated the Fulton Railroaders, 3-1

In 7 innings.  (From Owensboro)  In Game 2: The Oilers scored one run in the bottom of the 1st inning. With one out Alfredo Bohorques, Jake Wilson, and Tyler Rachel RBI singled consecutively. Owensboro add two runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning. This time with one out Bohorques was hit by a pitch. He stole second base and moved to third base on an errant attempt to prevent the initial steal. Wilson was also hit by a pitch. Rachel grounded out, but collected his second RBI as Bohorques came across. Wilson scored on a RBI single by Jake Krupar. The home team led 3 to 0 after three innings.
     The Railroaders scored one run to narrow the home lead in the top of the 4th inning. Troy Squires led off the visitor inning with a walk. The advance runner moved up on a groundout, then went to third base as Greg Fettes singled. A Daniel Goff RBI double scored Squires and put runners on at third and second bases, but a pop out staved the Railroader rally at the one run.   
     Collective Oiler pitching bore down and the defense gelled to shut out Fulton the rest of the way.
     Oilers starter Drew Lyles was the winning pitcher and Cameron Wallace earned a save. Fulton starter Dylan Smith took the loss.
