The Marion Bobcats defeated the Tradewater Pirates, 8-4

In 10 innings.  On sponsor night provided by J-Lok, the Bucs battle back, and appeared headed to the dugout in the 9th with the win, but a controversial call at first base, taking the winning run from Tradewater, sent the game to the 10th, where Marion erupted for 4 runs, and send the Pirates packing, 8-4.  A grounder by George Kalousek with the bases full in the bottom of the ninth, seemingly moved the winning run to the plate, but the field umpire ruled the throw to first was in time.  However, the Pirates protested that the throw pulled the first baseman, which had much support from those in attendance.  Alas, the call stood, and the 10th came, and so did the runs for Marion.  The game featured some great defense from both squads, with the Cats prevailing in the end.
