The Owensboro Oilers defeated the Fulton Railroaders, 11-7

On Saturday the Oilers reserved the game on the Railroaders from Friday's game to easily win 11-7.  Owensboro scored 3 runs in the 1st inning, added 3 more in the 4th and single runs in the 5th and 6th to take 8-0 lead on the Railroaders.  Fulton finally exploded in the bottom the 6th and close the gap with 6 runs.  The Oilers responded in the 7th with 2 more to bring the score to 10-6.  Owensboro tacked up their final run in the 8th and Fulton matched the run in the bottom half of the inning for the final score.  Luis Mila lead the Oilers offense going 3 of 5 producing 4 RBIs with hits that included 2 doubles and a triple.  Additional offense for Owensboro was provided by Brent Weinzapfel 3 of 4 and 2 runs scored, and Austin Hargrove 2 of 3 scoring twice and 2 RBIs.  Owensboro totaled 14 hits on the night with Fulton marking up 8.  Railroader Mikee Moore, only 1 of 4, did manage a 3 RBI double, his 3rd double in two nights.  Fulton's Joe Mike went 3 of 5 with 2 RBIs.  Ethan Robinson earned the win starting for Owensboro and pitched 5 1/3 innings.  Fulton's starter Miles Canady threw only 3 1/3 innings getting tagged for 6 runs, 3 earned, and takes the loss.  The win moves Owensboro back to a half game behind Fulton in the standings, and tied with Marion who beat Tradewater on Saturday.
