The Fulton Railroaders defeated the Tradewater Pirates, 10-5

The Railroaders moved to 3rd in the OVL standings displacing the Pirates with a come-from-behind win on the 4th.of July.  The Pirates expended their fireworks early in the game with in 4 hit 1st inning which included a 3 RBI homerun from the bat of the big gun Derrek Etsell.  Tradewater add another run in 5th to take a 4-0 lead.  The Railroaders finally began scoring the bottom of the 5th taking advantage of an error to score 2 and added another from a Tyler O'Daniel RBI single, cutting down the Pirate lead to 4-3.  A Tony Becerra 7th inning double drove in another run to extend Tradewater's lead to 5-3.  The Railroaders broke out in the bottom of the 7th with 3 runs, scoring on another error and a 2 RBI clutch single from Kahtan Al-Kaissy to finally take a 6-4 lead.  Fulton capped off the win marking up 4 more runs in the 8th from 3 hits and yet another error.  A total of 23 hits for both side produced plenty of fireworks for fans, the Railroaders firing 13 and Pirates 10.  Leading Fulton; Brock Downey 4 of 6 and scored twice, three Railroaders earned 2 RBIs each; Tyler O'Daniiel, Kahtan Al-Kaissy, and Alex Azeredo.  Tradewater's Tony Becrra went 4 of 5, scored twice and had 1 RBI.  On the mound, Aaron Chez-Shaw picked up the win for the Railroader in middle relief pitching 1 2/3 innings. Fulton's starting pitcher Steven Dooley threw for 6 1/3 innings allowing 9 hits, 5 earned runs, walked 2 struck out 5, and left the game down in the score.  BJ Sieverding closed out the 9th with no save having a 5 run lead..  Tradewater's starter Kyle Thomas faired well going 6 innings giving up 9 hits, one walk, 11 strikeouts and no earned runs.  Kyle Weary takes the loss for Tradewater going only one inning but having the misfortune of being pitcher of record for the go-ahead Railroader run.  Both teams now take a day off, then the Railroaders head to Owensboro on Wednesday for a doubleheader against the Oilers while the Pirates travel to Marion for a doubleheader with the Bobcats.
