The Tradewater Pirates defeated the Fulton Railroaders, 3-2

In another close game between the teams, the Pirates finally prevailed overcoming the Railroaders by one run.  Fulton took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 4th inning as Rob Hogenkamp singled, advanced a base on a second Railroader hit, the scored off a fielder's choice.  In the bottom of the 6th, Tradewater took a 2-1 lead from a Tyler McDonald double with one man aboard, then he scored off another double by Sean Noland.  The Railroaders tied the game in the 8th from a RBI single by Mikee Moore with a man on 3rd base.  In the bottom half of the 8th, the Pirates regained the lead as Derrek Etsell singled and Keita Murakami came into to run for Etsell.  Murakami was batted to 2nd, made 3rd on a wild pitch, then scored the go ahead run on a Railroader error.  Tradewater's George Kalousek picked up the win in relief throwing the final two innings of play and Taylor Reilly the loss for Fulton pitching the last two innings.  The win puts the Pirates in 3rd place alone in the standings and drops the Railroaders back into 4th.
