Tradewater summary: The Tradewater Pirates had a chance to dent the armor of league-leading Marion at Guess Field in Marion, only to see the Bobcats score late and hold on to a 7-5 victory, moving them to 5-2. The Pirates, now with a three game skid, fall to 3-4 in 2011. But redemption is at hand, as the Pirates host the Cats at Riverside Park Sunday evening for a double dipper, beginning at 5pm. The Bucs clawed back to tie the game at 5-5 in the eighth, but as with the past several contests, let things get out of hand when the home team picked up the sticks, sending Tradewater below .500 after seven games.
